Syllabus
Course overview and goals
This course develops students’ mastery of JLPT N1-level grammar and expressions and their ability to use them effectively in practical contexts. Students will engage in activities such as practice exercises, sentence creation, and discussions to strengthen their practical Japanese language skills.
Course description and aims
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. understand and accurately use JLPT N1-level Japanese grammar and expressions;
2. analyze and interpret new Japanese expressions.

Class flow
Students are expected to complete textbook exercises in advance as preparation.
In class, they will study advanced grammar and vocabulary, practice creating short sentences to consolidate their knowledge, and analyze expressions through reading authentic texts. Regular attendance, active participation, and timely submission of assignments are required for successful completion of the course.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The final grade will be calculated as follows: 20% for assignments and 80% for the midterm and final exams.
