Course overview and goals

The aim of this course is to help students learn how to gather information about job hunting in Japan. In addition, students are expected to conduct self-analysis and think about their own career path.

Course description and aims

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) gather information about job hunting;
2) conduct self-analysis;
3) express their motivation for the job or the company they are applying for in Japanese;
4) draw up their curriculum vitae in Japanese.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes each for preparing for and reviewing each class (including the time spent for assignments) by referring to textbooks and other course materials.

Evaluation methods and criteria

After ensuring that attendance, exams and assignments, discussions, and presentations are each sufficient, the overall score will be graded with a weighting of 20% for assignments, 60% for exams, and 20% for presentations/discussions.
