Syllabus
Course overview and goals
Students will develop specialized knowledge in selected areas related to Japan and acquire advanced Japanese expressions, while cultivating the ability to present Japanese culture effectively.
Course topics include Japanese geography and its cultural background, and the relationship between traditional Japanese folktales and modern Japanese.
Course description and aims
Students will acquire persuasive Japanese speaking skills and gain the ability to explain topics in Japan-related fields clearly and effectively.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Attendance, examinations and reports each with confirmation that they are sufficient, The distribution of the scores will be weighted as follows: 20% for assignments, 60% for written tests, and 20% for presentations.
