Course overview and goals
This course focuses on mastering evaluation methods for research in the health and welfare fields, psychological and physiological approaches. Through lectures and group work, students will develop the ability to analyze physical and mental health and social and human phenomena.
Course description and aims
1) Define "health" from multiple perspectives.
2) Describe the appropriate research methods for measuring based on research objectives.
3) Using key theories and methodologies, explain contemporary topics in health and welfare.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Students' course grades will be based on Q&A and participation in class (40%) and the final presentation and report (60%).
