Course overview and goals
This course focuses on Quantum Science challenges, a critical frontier in realizing a Super Smart Society. We will examine how cutting-edge science can be leveraged to smart Quantum Science and explore how students’ respective fields of expertise can be applied to these solutions. Furthermore, by drawing on the instructor’s multifaceted career, students will gain insights to inspire and shape their own future career planning.
Course description and aims
Students will cultivate the specialized ability to create original science and technology in specialized fields spanning cyberspace and physical space, the ability to see the path from quantum science to super smart society, the ability to solve social issues by combining different fields, and the leadership ability to lead each industry, government, and academia sector. In particular, students will be able to briefly explain the current status and future of quantum computers, quantum sensors, and quantum cryptographic communication.
