Course overview and goals

Deliver presentations in foreign languages at events such as the SSS Global Forum and international conferences. Through discussion, students will gain an understanding of their research's place within society while cultivating expertise, international presentation skills, and communication abilities.

Upon completing this course, students will acquire the following skills:
1. Presentation skills in a foreign language
2. Communication skills in a foreign language

Class flow

Students must have presentation material checked by his/her academic supervisors and hold a rehearsal before the presentation in the lab. After the presentation is completed, student summarizes the presentation, printout of program/abstract, and submits report to course instructor

Students prepare a report summarizing information about the conference/event where they presented, the content of their presentation, and the questions asked, and submit it to the course instructor. The course instructor shall determine whether the student passes or fails.
