Course overview and goals

Conduct off-campus projects at companies or institutes of the Super Smart Society Promotion Consortium, etc., to develop and/or expand your own (cyber or physical) specialty by incorporating the perspectives of different fields. Students should submit a plan in consultation with the host organization and carry out the project under the instruction of the academic supervisor and the Social Cooperation Committee. In the project plan, students describe the skills to be acquired through the project and the plan for achieving them. For the internship duration of 4 weeks, students get 4 credits.

Course description and aims

Through internships at companies or institutes, students will gain first-hand experience on the knowledge and skills required in the super-smart society, rethink the position and meaning of their research in society.
