Syllabus

Course overview and goals

This course is for students who have completed the basic level, specifically for those who are still not confident in their Japanese when they speak with Japanese people. This course will focus on various interesting topics to be shared with the class.

Course description and aims

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- communicate in Japanese without problem;
- enjoy conversation with Japanese people;
- express their opinions in Japanese.

Class flow

This course will promote students' ability to practically use the expressions and vocabulary which they have already learned in Basic Japanese courses through familiar topics.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
