---|---|---|
Class 1 | School orientation |
Introduction of the Departments in the School of Materials and Chemical Technology |
Class 2 | School orientation |
Introduction of the Departments in the School of Materials and Chemical Technology |
Class 3 | Molecular design develops the world |
Understand how precise molecular design has enabled the development of our daily lives based on chemistry, a fundamental study for society. |
Class 4 | How to synthesize new molecular flasks |
We will study the synthesis, structures, and functions of "molecular flasks" in our daily life as well as latest advenced chemistry. |
Class 5 | Development of organic and polymeric materials for next-generation semiconductor device fabrication |
Organic and polymeric materials play a vital role in the fabrication of semicondcutor devices. Their roles and required properties are analyzed, along with gaining insights into new material design guidelines from the fundamental perspectives of synthetic chemistry and structure-property relationships. |
Class 6 | Unraveling mysteries of metallic materials from principles of physics |
Understand material-design methods based on electron theory and supercomputers such as TSUBAME. |
Class 7 | Researcher ethic and safety for scientific studies |
Understand the importance of researcher ethic and safety for the operation of scientific studies. |
