Syllabus
Course overview and goals
Examine the history and philosophy of education as a way of thinking about the purpose and methods of education. With this as a starting point, deconstruct own educational experiences and form own view of education in the teaching profession. In addition, to acquire the ability to design and implement education that will foster the next generation's ability to cope with the global age.
Course description and aims
The learning objectives for this course are the same as for Educational Foundations A and are
1. To be able to explain education in modern society objectively and concretely, based on learning the concepts and theories of pedagogy that are key to understanding the philosophy of education and the history and ideas related to education.
2. To be able to explain one's own views objectively and concretely, after understanding multiple views on important issues related to education in modern society.
