Syllabus

Course overview and goals

This course is designed for students who have learned Russian about a half or 1year. This course will provide conversation training in Russian.
The aim of this course is to develop oral skills, so that students will be able to communicate effectively in various everyday situations, speak about themselves, talk about their opinion and various topics of Russian and Japanese cultures.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) communicate in various everyday situations, 2)speak about themselves, 3) talk their opinion, 4) talk about various topics of Russian and Japanese cultures.

Class flow

At the beginning of each class, students learn model dialogues in videos and audio CDs. Using these materials and handouts provided by the instructor, the instructor and students practice conversation in Russian.

Class 1 The course schedule will be determined through discussions held among students and the instructor. Be able to communicate in more developed phrases.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

Students will be assessed on the works in classes.The instructor will explain the detail.
