Syllabus
Course overview and goals
In this course, students will learn the Chinese phonological system, basic conversational topics, vocabulary and grammar. Emphasis is placed on listening and speaking, We use the textbook that show various scenes of everyday life, it will develop students’ abilities to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, shot and rhythmical conversation will be easy for students to remember. Under the guidance of native instructor, learners will be able to communicate in Chinese more appropriately and correctly.
Course description and aims
At the end of this course, students will have increased their knowledge about Chinese phonological system, basic conversational topics of everyday life, will be able to introduce himself, and to have a positive attitude towards Chinese language learning, have gained confidence in using Chinese.

Class flow
At the beginning of each class, the instructor will explain the essential points of the class, including the key words, phrases and grammar. The instructor also corrects students 's pronunciation, has students to do exercise problems. We use the textbook that show Chinese culture and everyday life of ordinary people, the course will develop students’ abilities with spoken and written communication in Chinese, also expands what students know about modern society of China.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 30 minutes preparing for class and another 30 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
