Course overview and goals
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of Japanese views of "inochi (life)" . Therefore students would watch write short reports and engage in discussions on several topics related to life and death. Through these, we will try to discern the view of "inochi (life)" that lies behind them.
Course description and aims
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Obtain basic knowledge about the basic concepts and principles of Japanese views of life and death.
2) Express their view on Japanese views of "inochi (life)".
3) Learn about their own values regarding life and death at the same time.
