Course overview and goals
Students will learn practical communication by experiencing a wide variety of communication activities with their peers. Students will experience not only verbal and logic-centered communication to arrive at the correct answer in the shortest time possible, but also non-verbal and emotional communication, including the enjoyment of the process of moving their hands and bodies together with their peers to solve problems for which there are no correct answers. In addition to activities that are thought out, planned, prepared, and executed in advance, students are expected to create a synergistic effect by shaking up the usual patterns of thinking and behavior through the experience of activities in which participants react and move their own bodies to what is happening here and now.
The aim is to acquire practical communication skills including improvisation, physicality, emotion, and empathy.
