Course overview and goals

Students shall plan and practice activities related to Sustainable Engineering (around 3 months or more off-campus). Through the experience of these activities, the students can learn the connection between the course work and real-life development

Class 1 Students progress the individual project according to the following steps: 1. Approval of the working plan by supervisor and course chair 2. Activities (around three months and more) 3. Presentation at GEDES student workshop 4. Submission of the report to supervisor ・Internship or training in foreign or domestic companies or institutes. ・Internship or working experience in organizations related to Sustainable Engineering. ・Experience ・Field study related to the lectures given in the major. Follow the suggestions and/or advice of supervisor and course chair.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend a certain length of time outside of class on preparation and review (including for assignments), as specified by the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Undergraduate Learning (東京工業大学学修規程) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Graduate Learning (東京工業大学大学院学修規程), for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
