Course overview and goals
Through studying at research institutes or universities in Japan, students will engage in research related to the selection of chemical substances and materials design, utilizing their knowledge of materials and information. The goal is to deepen their understanding of specialized knowledge while also developing communication skills, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Course description and aims
Students will enhance their ability to apply knowledge of materials and information to the selection of chemical substances and materials design. Furthermore, through discussions with researchers at domestic universities and research institutions, students will improve their communication skills, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Prerequisites
Students must be enrolled in the Graduate Major in Materials and Information Sciences.
Students who wish to conduct study and research related to materials and information at domestic universities or research institutes must submit an activity plan by the end of the second month before departure. Based on the submitted plan, the Graduate Major will review and provide a response approximately one month before departure.
