Course overview and goals

Students work on their research report of independent research project and make a presentation of research interests and discuss about them with faculty members. They learn the skills of logical thinking and presentation, by citing related research work, clarifying problems, setting purposes, planning their study and experiments required to solve such problems.

Course description and aims

Students will be able to improve their skills as a scientist or engineer; logical thinking, presentation, and discussion skills, which enable them more easily to understand the current situation, find a problem, set a subject, and plan and carry out their research.

Students will conduct their research in consultation with the academic supervisor.
