Course overview and goals
Through studying at research institutes or universities in Japan, students will engage in research related to the selection of chemical substances and materials design, utilizing their knowledge of materials and information. The goal is to deepen their understanding of specialized knowledge while also developing communication skills, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Students will enhance their ability to apply knowledge of materials and information to the selection of chemical substances and materials design. Furthermore, through discussions with researchers at domestic universities and research institutions, students will improve their communication skills, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Students must be enrolled in the Graduate Major in Materials and Information Sciences.
Students wishing to conduct study and research related to materials and information at an overseas university or research institute must submit an activity plan at least two months before departure. Based on the activity plan, the the Graduate Major will review the eligibility for enrollment and provide feedback approximately one month before departure.
