Course overview and goals
We will present the vector analysis and the functional analysis as the fundamental tools for the mathematical analysis. The first half of the course is devoted to the calculus of scalar fields and vector fields.
The latter half covers the fundamentals of functional analysis, including Banach spaces, linear operators, Hilbert spaces, orthogonal decompositions, and the Riesz representation theorem.
Course description and aims
This course aims to understand vector analysis and functional analysis as fundamental tools for mathematical analysis.
Keywords
vector fields, integral theorems, Banach space, linear operators, Hilbert space
