Course overview and goals
This course focuses on molecular assembled materials showing various functions. A series of intermolecular interactions are studied, and basic understanding of representative molecular assemblies is acquired. Various photofunctional molecular assemblies are reviewed.
Course description and aims
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Explain intermolecular interactions.
2) Understand representative molecular assemblies
3) Understand mechanism of the photofunctions exhibited by a series of photofunctional molecular assemblies.
