Course overview and goals

Students shall plan and practice activities related to Energy Science and Informatics (2 weeks or longer, off-campus). Through the experience of these activities, the students can learn the connection between the course work and real-life development.

Through this experience, students will be able to connect between the course work and the real-life development (Energy Science and Informatics)

Students proceed the individual project according to the following steps:
1. Approval of the working plan by supervisor and course head
2. Activities longer than 14 days (2 weeks)
3. Submission of the report to your supervisor
The report should include summary of research activity and particularly experiences through the activities participated as a program (research, summer school, internship and so forth).

・Internship, job training, or working experience in organizations related to Energy Science and Informatics field, such as companies and research institutes (abroad/domestic).
・Field studies related to the lectures given in the Energy Science and Informatics course.
・Long term summer school program activities

Evaluation methods and criteria

After completing the required activities, students submit a report to their supervisor. The supervisor determines the evaluation content and criteria in advance based on achievement goals 1) to 4), and evaluates the submitted report based on these.
The supervisor applies the approval of the evaluation results to the course head and course education committee (circulate materials), and the evaluation is finalized at the representative meeting.
