Course overview and goals

In this course a student pursues a long-term project at companies located in Japan or outside of Japan. This course aims for cultivation of wide-view and rich communication abilities by conducting research and development activity using one's knowledge.

Course description and aims

1) Ability to conduct research with global awareness of the research and development trends.
2) Ability to communicate and conduct smooth research and development with sufficient mutual understanding.
3) Ability to solve the emerging issues and to propose creative ideas by use of the professional knowledge.

Class flow

Preparing a research plan and/or writing a research proposal should be done before the internship begins. Reporting of activity is required either by document or by presentation after the internship is completed.

Evaluation methods and criteria

After the completion of program, students submit a report to their supervisor. The supervisor determines the content and criteria for evaluation in advance according to the goals 1) to 3), and accordingly determines the evaluation. The supervisor reports the results to the course education committee (circulate materials) and the evaluation is approved at the representative meeting.
