Course overview and goals
This course is designed to give students experiences in the social world at companies and/or institutes whose researches are related to “Science and Technology for Health Care and Medicine”. It is necessary to discuss with student’s supervisor to decide the host agency for thier off campus training. The number of credit depends on student’s working period at the host agency.
Course description and aims
By completing this course, students acquire the following abilities:
1) Ability to understand the study in “Science and Technology for Health Care and Medicine” course based on the research at the host agency.
2) Balanced research skills to integrate the knowledge acquired at both student’s laboratory and the host agency.

Class flow
After the discussion with student’s academic advisor, students start their training at their host agency. After completing their training, students make an activity report during their training at the host agency.

Students are evaluated based on their activity at the host and their report. If misconduct, such as plagiarism or misappropriation of someone else's work is committed, we will treat it strictly: The grade of the subject will be 0.
