Course overview and goals
This lecture is required for the Doctoral degree of the students belonging to Super Smart Society Engineering Program of IGP-A. The student will take a part in an actual project executing by company or institution. The project period is normally from three to six months, in which the student should work more than 320 hours in total in the company or institution. The project period (not the total time) includes not only the actual activities in the company or institution, but also the planning work with the supervisor before the internship and the preparation work for the final report after the internship. The student will have an actual experience in his/her own field and will obtain proper prospects of his/her future profession through this internship project.

The aims of this course are
(1) to gain new knowledge and/or abilities that are usually difficult to gain inside the campus, and/or
(2) to learn methodology to apply knowledge and/or abilities gained inside the campus.
