Course overview and goals
This course is designed for students with work experience as a member of society to obtain credits by having the graduate major to which the student belongs certify that the students has already practically fulfilled the Graduate Attributes (GAs) required for master's program students based on their past and current work experience and achievements as a member of society.
The students shall agree in advance with their academic supervisors the documents and materials that objectively proves that they have already fulfilled the GAs based on their past and current work experience and achievements as members of society, as well as the number of credits to be earned. Then, the students, after completing the documents and materials, submits them to their graduate major via their acadmic supervisors. The graduate major approves the credit earned and the number of credit(s) earned from this course based on the documents and materials submitted by the students.
Once a course has been approved for credit and the number of credit(s), the students should register for an appropriate course in the most recent quota (Q) available for registration. If a student attempts to take this course at the very end of their doctoral program, there may be no Q available, so students should take this course early.
Master's Recurrent Program is offered as 1Q:A, 2Q:B, 3Q:C, and 4Q:D, with two courses of 1 credit (Master's Recurrent Program 1-1 and 1-2), one course of 2 credits (Master's Recurrent Program 2) in each Q. The maximum number of credits that can be earned is 2 in total. For example, it is possible to obtain a total of 2 credits by combining Master's Recurrent Program 1-1 and 1-2, or 2 credits by Master's Recurrent Program 2 alone.
