Course overview and goals
Students plan and implement their own projects at overseas universities and research institutions. By engaging in research in an environment that differs from that of Science Tokyo, this course aims to improve students' professional skills, broaden their perspectives, understand the importance of a team with diverse values, and foster rich communication skills.
Course description and aims
As a leader in his/her field of expertise, the student will acquire one of the following abilities
1) The ability to use specialized knowledge to solve new problems and make creative proposals
2) The ability to understand the current trends in research and development with an international perspective and to carry out research
3) Communication skills to understand each other and carry out research and development smoothly
4) Ability to discuss and explain logically, and to summarize in writing

Class flow
The students will consult with the destination, such as international mentors' affiliated organizations, etc., to determine the destination. Prior to conducting international fieldwork, permission must be obtained from the Academy of Energy and Informatics Program by submitting a written plan. Once the fieldwork has been carried out, a report of the results must be submitted.
