Course overview and goals

Students in Materials filed learn the skill of Infomatics, while Students in Infomatics field learn the skill of Materials. Students visit the laboratory of the instructor in the different research field to acquire the interdisciplinary skill.

Course description and aims

Students in Materials filed can use Informatic skill, while Students in Infomatics field can use the skill of Materials experiment for their own research.

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Contact with the instructor of the different research field. Decide the theme and plan through discussion with the instructor. Advance your research skill by gudance of the instructor. Submit research report to the instructor (2 pages in A4 size).

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
