Course overview and goals

This course aims to educate students on cutting-edge research in the psychology of leadership. Students will learn the 5R (Readying, Reflecting, Representing, Realizing, and Reporting) tools of Identity Leadership and analyze a real-life world leadership situation through this lens, which they will report on in a short presentation and discussion at an online symposium. The symposium is open to the public, so the students have audience members for their presentations from all over the world. Students are required to submit questions for the keynote speaker in advance and feedback sheets that guarantee that they are listening carefully and thinking critically.
