Course overview and goals
Students will analyze the potential for commercialization and develop a business plan based on research conducted in their own laboratories (or research within ScienceTokyo that interests them). This process will lay the groundwork for the creation of concrete startups. Students are required to engage in dialogue with the faculty members conducting the relevant research and secure their cooperation.
Course description and aims
Students will be able to develop plans for the social implementation of research conducted in theirown laboratories (or research within Science Tokyo that interests them) and evaluate the feasibilityof those plans. It is desirable for students to maintain a strong awareness of practical activitiesaimed at concrete commercialization.

Faculty members with practical experience in founding, managing, and investing in or participating with deep-tech startups will provide hands-on support for startup planning based on their real-world experience.

・ This course will be offered concurrently as “SUE.P501/Innovation Teams for Master” and “SUE.P601/Innovation Teams for Doctor,” with a combined enrollment capacity of approximately 20 students.
