Course overview and goals
This course is designed for students to understand the outline of economy and society, even without preliminary knowledge. The course contains basic knowledge to be familiar with finance and economy, and viewpoints required to consider corporate activities. Lecturers will explain broad pictures and recent trends of topics in each class, as shown below.

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

There will be no recording of the classes.
Evaluation methods and criteria
Short reports 60% (6 reports, 10 points each) and a final report 40%
If you are absent from a class, regardless of the reason, there will be no make-up assignments.
The classes will not be recorded, so read the course materials posted on T2SCHOLA to find out the content of the class you missed.
Details of the requirements of the reports will be explained in the first class.
