Course overview and goals

The theories and methods of designing something appearing to sensibility of users will be learnt through design practices providing artifacts to our society.

Course description and aims

The basic knowledge of the theories underling the methods of design and methods of their application are expected to be acquired.

Theories and methods are explained, then the students try to apply them to design practice.

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 PBL following basic lectures. Complexity of the relationships between artifacts and emotion would be understood.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
