Syllabus

Course overview and goals

・This course is off-campus internship in the industry. Students learn way of thinking, sense of value and working process in the industry through the actual work experiences such as R&D with members of a private company.
・One credit will be granted for 2 weeks to 1 month of full-time work basically. The negotiation and coordination such as the R&D themes, working conditions and contract is carried out in each course which students belong to. Note that if the department provides with its own internship course which is authorized as a career course it should be taken in the first place.
・Communication related to this course will be done using the OCWi system.

Course description and aims

・Students can understand the reality of activity and the way of thinking in private companies and also realize the difference in R&D between in the university and in the company.
・Students can have an opportunity to review own research doing at the university from the view points of meaning and the role in the society.

Based on the evidence such as reports, the academic supervisor judges the credits and the judgement is authorized by the course.
