Course overview and goals

This course consists of practice of necessary physical exercise and understanding of the theory for physical fitness.

Course description and aims

Students will be able to :
(1) acquire advanced skills and exhibit skills needed during a game/match.,
(2) regularly engage in exercise by him/herself, in order to maintain good condition,
(3) assess others' skills and give him/her appropriate advice as to exhibit leadership.

Course schedule/Objectives

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Guidance, and "Relation of exercise and health", and Introduce of a towel stretch. Practice of towel stretch
Class 2 Exercise under hot environment. Practice of walking or Joging
Class 3 Correct posture and stretch Practice of self-check and stretch
Class 4 Core stability Practice of variaous exerceses
Class 5 Functional anatomy of upper limb, lower limb and trunk. How to train upper limb, lower limb and trunk muscles. Resistance training squat / push up / sit up
Class 6 Biomechanical analysis of squat, push up, and sit up training. Resistance training squat / push up / sit up
Class 7 Reaction time, cooperation of a reflective nerve, a balance of arm and hand of space recognition, concentration, the position and influence, a hand and an eye, Coordination training (Juggling/juggling by a soccer ball/ / juggle with a golf club) We will summarize the impressions after practice in about 400 characters and report.

Students will be assessed by the commitment sore, the practice score, the understanding (comprehension) score, and the task (homework) score.
