Course overview and goals

Internships at national research laboratories or domestic private companies. Purpose of this course is to understand how the learning at the university is related to the real society.
Note that each department has a different course number for this course.
IA: 1 Credit, Spring Semester
IB: 1 Credit, Autumn Semester
IIA: 2 Credits, Spring Semester
IIB: 2 Credits, Autumn Semester
The number of credits depends on the period and quality of the internship. They are determined in consultation with the academic supervisor.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend a certain length of time outside of class on preparation and review (including for assignments), as specified by the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Undergraduate Learning (東京工業大学学修規程) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Graduate Learning (東京工業大学大学院学修規程), for each class.
