Course overview and goals
In this course, each student gives a talk on various topics such as his/her research topics, future plans, the culture or nature in his/her home country in English. The student must prepare the presentation with consideration that the scientific and cultural backgrounds of the audience are different. The aim of this course is to give students opportunities to understand one another through the communication.
Course description and aims
The student will have skills to make a presentation in English and be able to understand other students from other countries. Note that each department has different course number for this course.

Class flow
A student gives an approx. 15min talk and answer the questions from the audience. The students also take part in as audience.
