授業の目的（ねらい）、概要

この授業では、日本語・日本文化について、言語、芸術、音楽などのトピックを通して学ぶ。特に留学生の目から見て興味がもてそうな点についてトピックを取り上げる。文化を通して、日本語のストラテジーについても学ぶ。

到達目標

この授業をとおして、日本語や日本文化についてこれまで気づかなかった点に気がつくようになること。また、学生間で疑問に感じていた日本文化に関連することに感心をもつようになること。

準備学修(事前学修・復習)等についての指示

学修効果を上げるため，教科書や配布資料等の該当箇所を参照し，「毎授業」授業内容に関する予習と復習（課題含む）をそれぞれ概ね100分を目安に行うこと。D4E(Dictation for Every day)を毎日やること。

成績評価の方法及び基準

This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
The final grade is calculated as follows: 40% for assignments (sub-reports and daily dictation homework), 10% for presentations and class discussions, and 50% for the final examination.

履修の条件・注意事項

For students who have successfully completed "Basic Japanese 2" (LAJ.J412) or the equivalent level, but have not reached "Intermediate Japanese 3" (LAJ.J423) level. Class discussions will be conducted in English.
