Course overview and goals
Tokyo Tech provides various international study programs with overseas universities and institutions, in this course study abroad or an international research internship is undertaken through the international program or interantional collabration to deepen the knowledge and expertise related to global science and technology. This specific program is designed for the period more than one month. Prior to the registration of the program, the student should submit the study plan and obtain the approval by the instructor. In principle, the students participating in this course are required to submit a report and give a presentation after completing the internship.
By participating in an overseas exchange or internship program and having cross-cultural communication, students can gain an understanding of society and lifestyles outside of Japan, which will give them an international perspective.
Course description and aims
Through a short term international study program, the student will deepen the knowledge and expertise related to global science and technology. By participating an overseas exchange or internship program and having cross-cultural communication, the student will gain an understanding of cultural and social background and various environments outside of Japan, and broaden his/her international perspective and develop global awareness for the future career.

Class flow
The students participate the international exchange or study program organized by Tokyo Tech and study and/or conduct research works in overseas universities or institutions. After completion of the overseas study, they submits a report and gives a presentation.

In principle, should be selected in an international program in advance. For registration, submit the study plan for the approval by the instructor of the class.
Students planning to join an online overseas study program can take this course, if the equivalency of the online program to the common onsite overseas program can be confirmed.
