Syllabus

Course overview and goals

The purpose of this class is to instill the habit of physical activity through the game of basketball.
Students will learn the basic techniques of basketball and learn how to manage a safe game.

Course description and aims

Studetns will able to :
1) acquire knowledge and practice necessary for physical and mental health, and care his/her health by themselves.
2) acquire basic skills and exhibit them during game as to enjoy the sports event.
3) have an understanding the usefullness of the sports event to use the sports event for life-long sports.

Students will be assessed by the commitment score (40%), the skill score (20%), the understanding (comprehension) score of rules and safety instruction (20%), and the practice score (20%).
