Course overview and goals

Study the practical and industrial aspect of teaching method of mathematics using ICT equipments.
Through micro-teaching and peer review, students will acquire advanced teaching skills for their class.

- Students can learn practical research trends in industrial subjects and try to improve their class design.

The course is given as an intensive course.

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Collaborative learning in industrial subjects instruction Students are required to design their own class using collaborative learning methods.
Class 2 Communication and instruction in industrial subjects learning Students are required to design a class that emphasizes communication.
Class 3 Survey of trends in practical research in industrial subjects Students are required to improve their class with reference to practical cases.
Class 4 Design of simulated class: Concept Students are required to complete the concept of simulated lessons.
Class 5 Design of simulated class: Making teaching plan Students are required to complete their own teaching plan for simulated class.
Class 6 Practice of simulated class part 1 Students are required to reflect their teaching practice.
Class 7 Practice of simulated class part 2 Students are required to reflect their teaching practice.

Prerequisites

(1) Method of Teaching Industrial Subjects I, II, III, and Foundation of Teaching Practice (2) Subjects related to the subject of "Industrial Subject"
The requirements to take this course are as follows.
* Students must have already acquired credits from the related subject (1) above. (Including cases in which students who have taken courses at the same time in the same semester are able to confirm that they are expected to earn credits)
* Students must have acquired a total of at least 20 credits from related subjects (2) above. (ditto).
