Course overview and goals

This class is basically designed for the students who are taking Elementary Spanish course. This class offers them a chance to practice their knowledge and learn more about the culture of the Spanish speaking countries.

Course description and aims

Students are expected to have chance to practice the knowledge gained by the elementary Spanish course and improve their oral communication skills.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

No specific book is assigned for this course, but the textbooks of the elementary Spanish course (Watanabe, et als. Mi casa es tu casa. Editorial Asahi, 2023) might be used in this class, too.

Comment sheets 70%, Term paper 30%.
