This lecture provides an overview of the management of information and knowledge from the management studies, not to focus on the technological view. This also aims to highlight the applied theme in this field.

The aims of this lecture are:
1. to grasp the theme and its content in the discipline,
2. to grasp the method and data employed in the reading assignments.
