Course overview and goals
Doctoral students deepen their understanding of their own research topic and its meaning through practical experiences in research, development, and investigation at companies and research institutes (including universities) connected to students' research field. Based on deep expertise necessary for solving problem, students will develop the skills to propose and implement collaborative strategies. This course is intended for relatively long-term (1 month or more) activities. The location of the activity can be domestic or abroad. In addition, since a contract with the company/research institution to which you are dispatched may be required, be sure to consult with your academic advisor in advance about the necessary procedures. Then, the student will need to consult with the company/research institution for making the contract if necessary.
