Course overview and goals

This course of building services introduces the outline of building equipment, especially the air conditioning unit and pluming system, after the lecture of environmental engineering and the planning of building services.
The purpose of this course is to understand the design of plumbing and sanitation equipment, and so on.

Course description and aims

At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the basics and theory of plumbing and sanitation equipment and understand the design of each buiding service. Furthermore, students will be able to understand the facility of buildings

Each class is devoted to fundamentals and to advanced content or application. To allow students to get a good understanding of the course, practice application related to the contents of this course are provided. Attendance is taken in every class.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
