Course overview and goals

To learn planning processes, methods of planning, and systems of community management in urban and rural areas,
based on knowledge of architectural planning, using Japanese and foreign case-studies and workshops.

Course description and aims

To gain planning, evaluation, and practical skills for urban and rural spaces, based on knowledge of architectural planning.

Lectures and Workshops are designed based on my experiences as planner of an school plan for children, a management plan of community center for residents, a town-development (Machizukuri) plan.
