Course overview and goals
This course is to study sustainable urban planning by reviewing the relationship between urban development and urban planning, and urban planning cases in Japan and other foreign countries.

Understanding urban planning institutions in Japan and other foreign countries focusing on masterplan in Japan, and also exercising urban planning for sustainability by proposing amendments to existing cases of masterplans

Study advice (preparation and review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
