Course overview and goals

[Summary of the lecture] It is important for scientists and engineers to appeal their research findings to the society by writing technical papers. In this course, students aquire a skill to write high-quality scientific papers.
[Aim of the lecture] This lecture aims to provide students guidelines on how to prepare a well-structured and comprehensive research manuscript.

By the end of this course, students will be able to write a logically-correct scientific paper.

Class 3 How to write a research abstract Aquire a skill to write appealing abstracts.
Class 4 The importance of introduction chapter Aquire a skill to write appealing backgrounds and uniquness of the research.
Class 5 Experimental section Aquire a skill for concise writing of experimental section.
Class 6 Results and Discussion Understand how to construct Results and Discussion sections logically.
Class 7 Conclusions Aquire a skill to write necessary and sufficient conclusions.
Class 8 Citation and Acknowledgement Aquire knowledges for correct citation of references and writing acknowlegements.
