Course overview and goals

By participating in Experiments for Material Engineering in Nuclear Non-proliferation and Decommissioning with master's program students and assist the main professor to
conduct the experimental course.
Students will understand the nuclear material-related field more deeply and obtain the efficient skills for teaching.

Course description and aims

Students understand the evaluation methods of materials related to decommissioning of nuclear reactors and nuclear non-proliferation, and obtain teaching skills of the field.

Class flow

Students join the experiments and support the teaching of master's program students, and compile reports about improvement of teaching skills and contents of experiments.

Course schedule Objectives
Class 1 Joining the experiments and support the master's program students. Summarizing the report on (1) newly obtained insights on contents of experiments, and (2) improvement of teaching skills.

Study advice (preparation and review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 50 minutes preparing for class and another 50 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
