Course overview and goals
[Abstract] In this lecture, researchers who are active at the forefront of various fields of applied chemistry introduce a wide range of topics from basic principles to the latest research on the functional molecules and materials, aiming to provide knowledge on the frontiers of applied chemistry such as polymer science, materials science, coordination chemistry, and catalytic chemistry.
[Aim] This course aims to provide students with a wide range of knowledge about research from basic to applied research conducted by active researchers at the forefront of applied chemistry.
Course description and aims
By taking this course, students will acquire the following abilities.
(1) Explain the basic properties and reactivity of functional molecules and materials at the molecular level.
(2) Explain advanced chemical technology systems about the design of useful materials and their transformations.
(3) Explain the latest topics in the field of applied chemistry, from basic to applied research.
