Course overview and goals
The purpose of this seminar is to provide a platform for international collaboration, mutual understanding
and cooperation, while fostering global human resources development. This course is for the students belonging to the International Graduate Program (IGP-A, IGP-B and IGP-C) or Specialized Education Program in International Course for Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering (IGP-J).
The seminar consists of (a) informal research meetings called “science cafe”, (b) mini-internship and (c) collaborative work of international and Japanese students.

The aim of this course is to give students opportunities to understand one another through communication in the activities.

Class flow
Guidance is held in October. The three activities (a)-(c) must be accomplished. Each activity has some options that will be announced at the guidance or later. Choose one of them.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
