Course overview and goals
This course focuses on mechanical machining, and covers the fundamentals of machines, tools, materials, and behavior of process. In addition advanced machining process are explained. This course introduces mainly cutting, grinding, and surface finishing.
Course description and aims
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Have an understanding of principal mechanical machining.
2) Explain characteristics of cutting, grinding, finishing process.
3) Have an understanding of machines, tools, materials for mechanical process.
